Professional Accounting Supplementary School (PASS) Information

At the Professional Accounting Supplementary School (PASS), we offer preparatory courses to accounting students looking to pass their CPA exams. Our mantra is simple: we believe that ALL students can pass the CFE. The single greatest factor is how you prepare for the exam. This is because the CFE does NOT test on technical skills but on competencies. For the past 25 years PASS has been responsible for the PWC national UFE program and is now responsible for the PWC CFE program. Under the leadership of Michael Levi (1987 UFE Ontario Gold Medalist, CA, CPA, MBA) and Ira Walfish (CA, CPA, MBA), we have been in operation for over 25 years, providing courses to the general public across Canada as well as managing and delivering CPA training within accounting firms such as PWC, EY, and Deloitte. To be “competent” one must practice and become proficient in case writing, utilizing technical skills that are built up along the way. This is where PASS can help. We provide a complete program, beginning with technical sessions to help you through the Modules/Challenge exams and then into case writing for the CFE. We teach proprietary techniques to help you attain “competent” status in the different competencies. Our philosophy is that with the right coaching, everyone can PASS and become a CPA. Our goal is that by the time you reach the CFE, you will be confident in your skills and will have an easy time passing the exam.
