NEW WINDS IN THE ENERGYSECTOR The energy sector is undergoing a large-scale transformation because of national and international agreements to convert to climate-neutral societies. We need a change. Energinet wants to contribute to the conversion of energy systems with the aim of ensuring that citizens and businesses use renewable energy for everything, with a high level of security of supply and at an affordable price. GREEN ENERGY FOR A BETTER WORLD Every day, we work with designing, maintaining, developing and expanding energy systems that will make it possible to use renewable energy for everything - In Denmark and globally. Renewable and green energy is one of the most important prerequisites for creating a world in which people can thrive and live good lives without causing damage to future generations or the current populations in the most exposed areas on the globe. A world in which global climate change has been slowed down. This makes stringent demands on Energinet’s culture and our way of working. We need to deliver on our tasks more quickly and become better at learning new things. We must be willing to assume delimited risks in situations in which action is important to pave the way for the green transition, even though the effect is only likely and not certain. We must be curious and pave the way for green energy for a better world!

SE - et førende energi- og teleselskab SE blev skabt ved en fusion i april 2006 som et regionalt el-selskab. Siden har vi bevæget os stadig mere ind i energi- og kommunikationsbranchen. Senest med fusionen med det nordjyske energiselskab Nyfors samt opkøbet af DONGs landbaserede vindmøller og Stofa, Danmarks næststørste leverandør af kabel-tv. Derfor hedder vi ikke længere Syd Energi, men SE. I dag er SE således en moderne energi- og telekoncern, der bl.a. leverer el, energi-effektiviseringer, bredbånd og kabel-tv til vores over 725.000 kunder. Vores vision gør det nemlig helt klart, at vi står på flere ben og har fokus på både energi, klima og kommunikation. Vores hovedsæde ligger i Esbjerg, men vi har aktiviteter i hele landet og dækker flere forsyningsområder i Syddanmark og i Nordjylland på i alt mere end 8.250 km2. Vi servicerer ca. 316.000 husstande i regionerne med strøm – og disse udgør vores andelshavere og ejere. Derudover har vi flere afdelinger rundt om i landet, som huser vores omkring 1.500 servicemindede medarbejdere.

The Danish Energy Agency is a key contributor to Denmark's role as a pioneer in a cost-effective energy system transition – which benefits both the climate and Danish economy. We undertake tasks related to energy production, supply and consumption and efforts to reduce CO2 emissions. We also participate in international collaboration on energy transition in countries such as China, Mexico, Ukraine, Indonesia, South Africa and elsewhere. DEA is supporting the economic efficiency of the supply sector, which in addition to energy includes vital areas like water, waste and telecommunications of our society. DEA was established in 1976 and is part of the Danish Ministry of Energy, Utilities and Climate. We emphasize a high level of professionalism and knowledge among our many professional employees. DEA is based in Esbjerg and Copenhagen.
