Probitas Pharma is one of the five major producers of plasma blood products in the world and has an important research and development area. The turnover for Probitas Pharma in the 2002 fiscal year was 390 million Euros, showing a 26.2% increase compared to 2001. The net profit was 18.9 million Euros, representing growth of 88.5% when compared to the previous year. In 2002, all its different business lines experienced significant growth. It is worth highlighting the "Hospital" Division which covers, amongst others, serums contained in both glass and plastic, and which recorded an 8.4% growth, with a sales turnover of over 48 million Euros last year.
