Mokveld is a valve technology leader and is committed to supply customized solutions, fit for today’s challenges in the Energy markets and Water infrastructures.
Oil & Gas
Our research and development is directed towards sustainability. Since the 1970-ies Mokveld SAV or HIPPS (SIL3) have been used to safeguard critical Oil & Gas systems in an environmental friendly way. More recently we have introduced products like the Low Shear Valve, to improve produced water quality, and the world’s first Zero Emission Valve designed to eliminate fugitive emissions (hydrogen ready). Typical features of our axial valves include reliability, accurate control, high capacity, noise abatement and low power actuation (incl. solar). The valves are used for Oil & Gas production, transport, LNG, gaseous media and super critical CO₂.
Hydropower and Water
Hydropower plants use Mokveld zero cavitation valves for energy dissipation, burning heads over 1.000 mwc (3.280 fwc). These valves are typically used in turbine or dam by-pass systems. For pressure relief applications the quick opening feature (< 2 seconds dependent on size) can be of interest to mitigate hydraulic pressure transients. The axial control valve is suitable for bi-directional flow which means flexible solutions to secure potable water supply.
