ProArteDanza's Summer Intensive Program ASPIRANTE has added an extra week this summer! ASPIRANTE is a unique summer training intensive for participants between the ages of 14 to 17. The program provides young dancers with an opportunity to build training foundations with the guidance of professional teachers, choreographers and dancers who have decades of experience in the field. The vision guiding the program is one of preparing participants to be a "fusion dancer"; trained equally in both the centuries-old technique of classical ballet and in contemporary dance techniques. This fusion is in great demand in the dance world today and we aim to provide young dancers with a jumpstart in their training. PROGRAM DETAILS: If you are reading this you probably know something about ProArteDanza's reputation as a hard-edged contemporary ballet company with a huge passion for performance, a drive for excellence, and an eye for talent. ProArteDanza's Aspirante Program provides dancers with the tools for serious professional development and advancement. YOU: a dancer age 14-17 who is driven, talented and hungry to work in the studio and on the stage. US: a dedicated team of international professional dance artists ready to give you an experience to take you to the next level. We offer high-level technical training, increased conditioning, and dynamic choreography. THE PROGRAM: Daily training 5.5 days per week for 4 weeks of full out sweat and inspiration, August 8th to September 3rd, 2016. The final performances are at the Winchester Street Theatre, September 1-3, 2016.
