Proactive Property was first established back in 2000 by Richard Shoesmith. Past projects included Walsh Street, Thebarton and Holland Street, Thebarton. In 2005, the Stirling Street, Thebarton syndicate was formed. The objective of Proactive Property is to source industrial development opportunities within Adelaide's premium precincts. In syndicating these projects, Proactive Property enables investors to participate in the limited opportunity to these developments. Key personnel include: Richard Shoesmith Project Manager/Director Richard currently holds a Real Estate managers licence and builders licence. He has a long history of property development and marketing spaning some 20 years. Notably, he was a founding director of the Rosetta Village development at Victor Harbor. Rosetta Village has grown to be one of the largest and most profitable retirement communities in Australia covering 43 acres with 360 homes and 500 plus residents. While still involved with Rosetta Village he started to develop industrial property in Adelaide. Starting with simple steel framed Colorbond sheds of around 200sqm and moving up in size and complexity, and now is focused on large-scale development and refurbishments. His role is to coordinate the whole process of purchase to profit. Richard's aim is "buy better, build smarter", enabling superior value to be offered to investors, clients and tenants.
