ProPhysio Incorporated is a well-known physiotherapy practice situated in George, Western Cape. We have been treating patients for the past 20 years and are well-known for our multi-disciplinary approach for the total wellbeing of our patients. The general physio practice strives for excellence in the management and treatment of individuals and sports teams. Triathlon, golf, surfing, hockey, bodybuilding, dancing, ballet and netball are some of the sports in which we manage the injuries, biomechanics and preventative treatment and rehabilitation thereof. We have a second practice at Outeniqua High School, treating scholars, teachers and the public for various injuries. The practice is open in the afternoons from 2 – 5pm. Treatments are by appointment only. WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED SO FAR ProPhysio Incorporated’s Innis Erasmus and the Physio Team have been involved with the professional Eagles Rugby team for the past 19 seasons. He also worked with the Stormers in 2004 and The SA Amateur Rugby team from 2005-2007, where the team was triumphant in winning the African Cup. Our physiotherapists and sport massage therapists have been managing the South African leg of the IRB 7’s Tournament, for 7 years. We were also involved in the treatment and management of injuries for a number of years with SWD Cricket. We were also Head Physiotherapist for Southern Kings Guinness PRO14 Rugby Union in 2017/2018 and Head Physiotherapist for Namibia’s National Rugby Team at the Rugby World Cup Japan in 2019. Wessel Mienie has been involved with the South African Rhino’s Rugby League team from 2015-2017.
