Private Home Care, LLC is also a Maryland Medicaid vendor holding a contract with the Maryland Department of Aging and Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (Vendor#: 9553011-00). We are authorized to provide Private Care, Respite Care, Behavioral Consultations, and Family and Consumer Training for Medicaid Waiver for Older Adults program recipients. Our clients range from the frail or disabled elderly or recently discharged hospital patients in need of the hands-on care, to those who just need someone for social stimulation to avoid depression and ensure psychological well-being. At Private Home Care, all staff members undergo a scrupulous professional evaluation including a criminal background check, drug testing, tuberculosis screening, a yearly physical, skills assessment, and professional reference review. All hands-on caregivers complete orientation training and skills review prior to entering a client's home. We require proof of legal immigration status and employment authorizations for our staff. We also conduct regular performance reviews and strive for excellence in all aspects of home care. We provide home care services from 2 to 24 hours per day and arrange respite care to allow unpaid family members and professional caregivers to obtain much needed relief. Our experienced and compassionate nurses routinely assess clients, develop a customized plan of care, communicate with family and care team, and train and supervise our caregivers. Our caregivers assist clients with daily chores and Private care. Having this help in the home often makes the difference between feeling alone and helpless or feeling comfortable and secure in familiar surroundings. Our business hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
