We are Salford and proud. The city we call home is at the heart of everything we do. Because where we’re from is why we’re here. We’re here to spread the joy of art and creativity, further and wider. We’re here to give space to different views, voices and opinions. And as a charity, we’re here to put every pound we make back into our work; supporting local communities, nurturing young talent and creating a programme as diverse and open minded as the city itself. In short, whatever you’re here for, whether that’s a show, an exhibition, an artist, a band, a comedian, or a workshop, we’re here for it.

Artsadmin makes space for brilliant artists to develop and share compelling new work generating connection, hope and change in the world. We are a charity based in east London. We’re here to make sure contemporary performance, socially engaged and live art practice in the UK is fuelled by the most exciting, genre-defying artists. We work with artists who have things to say about the world in unconventional ways, supporting them to shape their ideas and create unforgettable audience experiences. We care about art that stirs emotion, removes barriers and encourages connection. Working locally, nationally and internationally, often in partnership and always collaboratively, we develop and present work that is direct, truthful and matters, now.

Yorkshire Artspace is a registered charity providing studio space for around 170 artists and makers across two sites in Sheffield city centre. We provide high quality, affordable studio space and deliver a professional development programme which offers exhibition opportunities, training and subsidised Starter Studios for early career creatives. Established in 1977 by art graduates, Yorkshire Artspace was one of the first studio groups developed outside London. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the largest and most established studio providers in the UK, described by Arts Council England as “one of the leading artist studio spaces in Europe”. We aim for a 50:50 balance of visual and applied artists across our studios, which makes our community of painters, metalsmiths, ceramicists, fine artists, furniture makers, sculptors, jewellers, writers, fashion designers and more a unique hub of skills and experience. Our work is informed by consultation with our members in order to deliver activity that responds to their collective needs. We are an ACE National Portfolio Organisation, which enables us to programme activity in support of our vision: for visual and applied art to be thriving and accessible in our region. We achieve this by supporting creative careers through our two Starter Studios and wider professional development offer, and by creating opportunities for the public to engage with art through exhibitions, workshops and our annual Open Studios event.
