PreVeteran Information

PreVeteran makes complex environments understandable. People move through complex work and education environments throughout their lives. They learn jobs, processes, programs, and responsibilities—but they are rarely taught how the larger environment itself works. PreVeteran develops practical ways to make those environments easier to understand: how they work, what matters within them, where people fit, and how they can navigate with increasing independence. Our work currently spans three areas: ➔ Military Pre-Separation — helping service members understand the private-sector environment before they enter it. ➔ Workforce — helping people understand how the enterprise works and where their work contributes within it. ➔ Higher Education — helping institutions, staff, and student veterans develop a shared understanding of the environments students are moving through. Across each application, the underlying idea is the same: When complex environments become more understandable, people are better able to navigate them.
