Pretty Brainy, founded in 2008 as the originator of STEM-inspired apparel for girls, is today a 501(c)(3) education nonprofit organization. We address the need for real-world, student-centered STEAM learning — learning that is alive because students choose the focus, drive the creative decisions, work with human-centered design, explain the science, and own the outcomes of their work and its impact for others. We create experiences that blend STEAM with service learning and appeal to the importance girls place on creativity, innovation and giving back to their communities.
