Prestige Contracting Competitors

We are builders of architecturally considered projects across a range of building typologies and markets. Our roots are in craft, but our passion lies in effective construction management with a dose of compassion and humor!

At Vancouver General Contractors we specialize in home renovations and custom home builds throughout the Lower Mainland. Our mission is to provide our clients with an amazing experience in transforming their homes into beautiful functional art that reflects the lifestyle they choose to lead. We offer a full-service renovation experience from the client’s concept, to a design of the vision, and to the final build where our on-site Project Managers coordinate and supervise the trades work, while continuously communicating with the clients to ensure they are informed and satisfied. We are an award-winning company with projects including bathrooms and kitchens, home additions, in-law suites and laneway or carriage houses. We also specialize in mobility-accessible renovations. We offer a fixed price, and a two-year warranty on our work, so the customer knows we are working for them. We educate the customer through the complexities of the construction industry and build processes to ensure the customer realizes their dream within their budget! We are proud members of Houzz, HAVAN, BBB, GVHBA, NKBA, Renomark, CFIB and Built Green.

Horizon Pacific Contracting is a Victoria BC-based general contractor specializing in finely crafted, architecturally unique custom homes as well as large residential renovations. From luxury homes to complex remodels, we have been the builder of choice for top architects, designers, and discerning home owners for more than 30 years. We're a certified Built Green builder, a residential LEED Platinum builder, and a long-standing member of the Canadian Home Builders Association as well as the Vancouver Island Construction Association. Over the years our projects have been honoured with multiple VIBI, Georgie, and Fine Home Building Magazine Reader's Choice awards. Clients come to us because they want a builder with ethical integrity and staying power, one who demands the best and provides great value in return. Prospective employees come to us because they want a career, not a job, and to work on interesting, meaningful projects, while each day challenging themselves to meet the highest standard in the residential construction industry. We give back as a company and individuals through the Step Up Community Build Program - a charity initiative started by Horizon that delivers free renovations to families struggling with challenges in their home environment.
