Construction Manager and Hardscape Designer, Juliann graduated from the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY with a B.A. in Architect. Juliann is also the firm's architectural consultant and designer with over 20 years experience. Joe Prestis clearly the kind of person who can't do things in a small way. In the 60's, for example, he was buying property and building and selling homes at breakneck pace on Long Island to accommodate the migration from the New York boroughs - for Brooklynites and residents of The Bronx and Queens who wanted to raise their kids in "the country." With his wife Katie, he had, for several years operated a restaurant and catering hall while simultaneously running Presti Stone & Mason Corp. Joe took care of business, moving from Queens County to Freeport, NY, some ten miles east on Long Island, and branching into a home building venture in West Babylon, further out on Long Island. He says he got into the stone business "by Accident." The firm's work today is almost all in supplying and installing a variety of natural and synthetic stone for private custom homes and commercial buildings on Long Island and the Tri-State Area. From patios and fireplaces to exterior walls, they all reflect that special touch Presti Stone craftsmanship.
