Le Centre de recherches historiques (CRH) est une unité de recherche des deux organismes internationaux et interdisciplinaires que sont l'École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) et le Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS). Fondé par l'historien Fernand Braudel, le CRH est le plus grand laboratoire de recherche en France portant sur l'histoire. Il réunit environ 70 chercheuses, chercheurs et enseignants ou enseignantes-chercheurs, 160 doctorants et post-doctorants, 80 membres associés et une vingtaine d'agents de soutien à la recherche. Généraliste et axé sur le temps long, il réunit des spécialistes de l'histoire européenne, mais aussi de l'histoire de la Chine, de l'Amérique ibérique ou de l'Empire moghol. Structuré thématiquement, il fédère des équipes de recherche formées autour de projets spécifiques : historiographie et histoire économique, sociale, politique, démographique, intellectuelle, environnementale, juive, ibérique, rurale, des images, du genre, du littéraire, de la santé... It brings together over 70 researchers and professors, 160 doctoral and post-doctoral students, 80 associate members, and some 20 research support staff. Its general scope is paired with a long term approach. It comprises not only specialists in European history, but also in the history of China, Iberian America and the Mughal Empire. Thematically structured, it is organized around research teams formed around specific projects: historiography and economic, social, political, demographic, intellectual, environmental, Jewish, Iberian, rural, images, gender, literary and health history...
