Preserving Potential Information

Preserving Potential is a social enterprise with a twist that makes and sells Chutney. The projectâs social goal is to help empower members of the Leeds' homeless community by providing a positive learning environment in which they can develop some of the necessary skills and confidences required for the work place. We achieve this through a variety of classroom based workshops and practical business experiences including physically making the chutney. The projectâs environmental goal is to reduce food waste from the retail sector by using it to make our delicious chutney. We do this through weekly collections by saving produce from the bin at Leeds Kirkgate Market.
