These scammers can be very convincing, going so far as to steal the profile pictures from our actual recruiters from their LinkedIn profiles and using email addresses that contain the word ‘Concentra’ such as ‘@ConcentraCareers’ or ‘@ConcentraJobs’ or '@concentracareerdesk.' The scammers will typically ask you to send money at some point (for equipment, training, or a uniform, etc.). A LEGITIMATE CONCENTRA RECRUITER OR HIRING MANAGER WILL NEVER ASK YOU TO SEND US MONEY. Kaiser Permanente's Division of Research (DOR) is one of the nation’s largest research facilities outside of a government or university setting. Our studies cover a wide range of clinical topics, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, substance abuse, mental health, maternal and child health, and women’s health. Our research addresses broad issues, including the role of genes and the environment in health, the influence of behavior on disease prevention and chronic illness management, drug safety, health care policy, health services delivery, and disparities. The Division is currently home to 75 research scientists and staff scientists, 17 research fellows, and more than 674 employees. The DOR also has 46 adjunct investigators from within Kaiser Permanente Northern California (KPNC) and other academic institutions. DOR’s scientists are involved in 612 ongoing research projects and the KPNC Clinical Trials Program supports and guides 326 active clinical trials following 3,917 members. Since 2000, DOR researchers have published more than 8,100 peer-reviewed articles, and across all KPNC researchers there were more than 1,000 papers published in 2025 alone.
