We are one of the largest further and higher education providers in the Northwest, with a proven track record of providing quality education since 1896. St Helens College caters for students of all ages, studying at all levels. We provide courses and training to around 8,000 students across two main sites, the Town Centre Campus and the The STEM Centre, Technology Campus.

We are a Sixth Form College dedicated to the education and development of the whole person, so that all students can realise their full potential. Everything we do starts with our students needs and we have a strong ethos of care and respect. We are the only Outstanding college in Wigan and we are incredibly proud of the remarkable achievements our students make during their time with us. We offer a flexible course offer with over 40 A level and BTEC Level 3 courses and a wide and rich enrichment programme catering to everyone's passions, interests and skills.

St. Thomas More Catholic School is a voluntary Aided Roman Catholic Comprehensive School providing for the educational needs of 11-19 year old students from West Gateshead. It was also the first school to be awarded Technology College status in the North East.
