Premier Natural Resources, LLC (PNR) is a growth oriented private oil and gas company headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma focused upon the acquisition and efficient exploitation of hydrocarbons within the United States. Following the $4.1 billion sale of Vintage Petroleum in 2006, a core operating team on Vintage personnel formed. Under the leadership of Mr. Charles Stephenson and Mr. Chris Jacobsen Premier began full time operations in 2006. In February, 2010 Premier and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company (KKR) entered into a partnership and began focusing on acquisition evaluation to identify and assess producing North American upstream oil and gas properties for acquisition and then focusing on the successful operation and exploitation of those properties.
