The Children’s Art Studio is founded on the belief that children reap tremendous emotional, developmental and intellectual gains from making art and that this opportunity should be made available to all. Small class size, thoughtful instruction and the inventive use of high quality materials is what it is all about. Since 2008 the Children’s Art Studio has created innovative visual arts programming, bringing the highest standards of art education to the students of Washington, DC. During the past twelve months, we have enrolled one hundred fifty children in summer camps, two hundred children in workshops, twenty five teachers in professional development sessions, ten teens in our internship program and almost three hundred children in classes. We hope your child will join us! Our operations are guided by the same values that guide our programming: diligence, inclusion, integrity and care. We are committed to the responsible stewardship of resources and aim to build an environment where every person feels safe, respected and cherished. The Children’s Art Studio has a vision for the youngest residents of Washington DC where all will enjoy the freedom and power that comes from making art. In 2017 the Children’s Art Studio was invited to partner with the Promise Neighborhood Initiative to create art programs for the youngest children of Kenilworth-Parkside. We were honored by the invitation and delighted to bring the excellence of the Children’s Art Studio programs to ward 7. By providing consistent, high quality, long term visual arts instruction, the Children’s Art Studio can mitigate the harmful effects of living in poverty and bring joy to this community.

The Idea Factory provides services focused on transforming the corporate innovation process, taking into account the velocity required to thrive in the New Corporate Eco-system. Our unique products and services have been thoroughly developed, tested and refined during the past three years with over two dozen of the world's most significant companies. In our workshops, we weave together talent, ideas and facilities to enable participant involvement and foster innovative solutions focused on a particular task, project or strategy. Workshops serve to raise awareness within the client and can serve as a catalyst for change, usually applied for client's strategy sessions. We also serve as an outsourced innovation department, creating a blueprint for new business ventures built around a customer-centric vision of the future.
