PremDay is powered by Booking.com, Cloudflare, Criteo, Exoscale, Fastly, i3D.net, IONOS, Proton, Qarnot, Scaleway, Vinted. Cloud infrastructures emerged over the past decade, dramatically reducing the number of companies operating a bare-metal infrastructure. Out of the well-known hyperscalers, several smaller companies still maintain a fleet of servers on-premise, facing more and more complexity with newer hardware and ever-increasing energy consumption. A group of 15 infrastructure owners team up around a common project: Prem'Day. This user group aims to collaborate with vendors and strengthen communication between all parties involved. Once a year, the user group organizes a conference where infrastructure owners present to peers and hardware vendors, their operational experience, and vision around market trends. Centered on a single‑track, it is the ideal opportunity to meet the on‑premise community, particularly during the included breaks and lunchs.
