We are introducing Coordination as a Discipline. Our group is an Advanced Coordination Team that works with your design team, representing Owners to mitigate the risk that are typically suffered once a project goes out to the street for bids and construction. We bring craft knowledge from the trades to pre-coordinate subcontractor shop level drawings “during design,” allowing us to flush out costly issues that impact your budget, typically arising during construction. Owners are limited once the subcontractors are brought on board. Value Coordination is much more meaningful than Value Engineering. Expected savings on average before the development of pricing is from 4.5% to 7% of construction costs. These are verifiable numbers that our current clients will support. Prefix DFMA is a 100% independent company.
