Steeped in tradition, PSM has a simple mission statement: "Quality Without Compromise" It was 1989 when John Sargent and his team launched Precision Scale Models which quickly became Australia's leading importer of Brass "HO" Fine Scale Models. It all started with the Victorian Railways "T" Class Bo-Bo Diesel Electric Series 2 and 3 Locomotives which were delivered to market in 1990. As with the first models and every other prototypical model thereafter, a new level of excellence was set. With over 30 different models and variations built, the Australian marketplace had never seen such choice and quality before. Using both Samhongsa and now Ajin Precision Co., Mfg. of Korea, it is evident that the greatest level of satisfaction will be achieved from your investment. After the most successful period of Australian brass modelling produced, it was time for a change of direction and to reinvigorate the Ready To Run Brass Model Railways. In 2007 John Della took up the challenge and now heads up Precision Scale Models and Train Hobby Brass. Whilst John brings nearly twenty years of business and customer service experience, he also brings great enthusiasm and passion to the model railway scene.
