The Modular House is an architecturally designed transportable modular home system that is built and designed to the highest quality. The Modular House can be customized to your site and personal needs and will therefore be specifically suited to the climate, environment and site that it is placed which always leads to a better living environment. The Kangaroo Island SupaShak, also known in the industry as the Nature Shack, utilises the Modular House product to create a 3 Bedroom, high end Holiday Accommodation Facility at Vivonne Bay, Kangaroo Island South Australia. As Architects and Builders, we have developed the Modular House system after years experiencing nature-based living and holidaying and of course working in the Architecture and Building industry around Australia. We feel the need for a more well-designed, environmentally focused, streamlined housing system that is designed and built tough for the Australian environment, but provides flexibility for the specific site, environment and client needs.

For more than 20 years, Sustainable House Day has provided a great opportunity for hundreds of thousands of people to visit some of Australia's leading green homes - ones that are not only environmentally friendly, but cheaper to run and more comfortable to live in. Sustainable House Day gives visitors a chance to inspect firsthand houses that have been designed, built or renovated with sustainability in mind as well as the opportunity to talk to owners and receive unbiased advice. Once you have registered there is no need to register in subsequent years. Please note: house addresses will only be displayed in full 2 weeks prior to the open day. In 2019 over 44,500 people visited 252 properties across Australia.
