People in crisis desire to talk to a live person, someone who has a listening ear, is compassionate, and who cares about their unique personal needs. When a person calls our toll-free hotline they speak directly with a real person who will listen compassionately, pray and suggest other ministries or organizations that may meet the caller's felt needs in their local community. Most calls deal with very real life issues, marriage, family issues or personal concerns. If a local ministry, church or faith-based organization is not available, the person is directed to other organizations or government agencies that may meet the immediate needs. The Prayer & Crisis Referral Network is a non-profit organization. Together with churches and ministry partners, we are able to provide a live 24/7 prayer hotline service that includes local resource information for callers. The Prayer and Crisis Referral Network serves to coordinate and organize the many faith-based groups into a cohesive network of compassion organizations ready to help families at any time. We stand committed to indexing all faith-based community groups by sharing their capabilities and organizing them by topic, zip code and area of expertise.
