Prayaas CSI Covid Endeavor Information

Prayaas is our initiative to work with families and underserved communities to enable the support they require in the hour of need. We strive to work on identifying critical, life-saving resources, providing home care support in villages and enabling disrupted families. We are witnessing a devastating human tragedy in India with the recent surge in COVID. Families and communities are going through unprecedented times, having to search across hundreds of sources on internet/social media to find help. Underserved and rural communities lack basic monitoring and care materials. Families are being disrupted with death of sole breadwinners. Prayaas is CSI's initiative to work with families and underserved communities to enable the support they require in the hour of need. Through a helpline, we strive to work as a helping hand in identifying hospital beds availability, ambulance, oxygen options, medicines, and plasma donors. We are serving underserved and rural communities with Prayaas Covid Care Kits to enable early diagnosis and home care. These kits include things like Pulse Oximeter, Thermometer, N95 masks, Sanitizer, fully-paid COVID Consultations, and Steamer, depending on patient needs. As the 2nd wave of COVID-19 leaves thousands of families disrupted in India, we’re building a registry for dependent women who have lost their husbands; and children who have lost both parents with the intent to empower them for self-sustenance.
