The largest, and longest-running, English-language theatre festival in continental Europe Since its humble beginnings in 2002, the Fringe has grown in both size and popularity. From an audience of only 400 people in the first year, the event now attracts over 6000 keen and satisfied attendees each year - of all ages and from all walks of life. 'The Fringe in Prague is just like Edinburgh in the 60s: intimate, friendly and fun. It is a wonderful festival' Jim Haynes, Fringe Guru The 19th Prague Fringe takes place from 22nd - 30th May 2020. Rightly known for its fun, friendly, intimate atmosphere embraced by audiences and performers alike this boutique event - 9 evenings of comedy, theatre and music in unique venues throughout beautiful Mala Strana - offers something to suit every taste. This is an international festival based in the Czech capital, presenting shows from all over the world (previously UK, Japan, Norway, USA, Holland, France, Serbia, Ireland, India, Canada and Italy as well as Czech Republic).
