PQH Holding SA (PQH) was founded in 2000 by Maurice Pasquier when acquiring his first affiliated company based in Broc (Switzerland) today known as Plaspaq SA. In 2003, PQH acquired two Swiss companies Cafag SA in Fribourg and Walke SA in Herisau, both active in the fields of specialised packaging and paper, cardboard and plastics processing. In 2004 and 2005 PQH took control of Fischer SA Thermoformage in Boudry (Switzerland) and participated in the joint-venture with Agrobag AG in Jona (Switzerland). The acquisitions of Aptasic, a microelectronics company based in Boudry (Switzerland) and the joint-venture with Süd-Chemie (Schweiz) based in Romont (Switzerland) took place in 2006. In 2008, PQH entered into the capital of Mestel RSS, a company based in Sant'Olcese, near Genova (Italy), specialised in manufacturing rubber components for the watch industry. In 2011, PQH took a stake in the SPG Group (Swiss Promo Group), active in the field of promotional objects and textiles and acquired Cetec Automation SA, a company specialised in industrial automation.
