Pozzey is a technology company providing indoor and micro-location solutions for mobile devices e.g. smartphones and tablets. Pozzey is a platform that provides the infrastructure, software and maps to allow developers to build fully featured indoor location based apps. Pozzey works with system integrators to place Bluetooth Low Energy beacons (iBeacon) strategically throughout buildings; such as shopping malls, airports, sports stadiums, hospitals, hotels, and convention centres; to provide known location reference points allowing Pozzey to accurately track location. Pozzey is required because GPS doesn’t work indoors. Extension of accurate location based services indoors enables a whole new class of applications to be built such as indoor turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, location based advertising and location based payments. Pozzey also provide feature rich analytics to venue operators.
