New Directions is The Life Portfolio Company. We help accomplished people in business and the professions make the right next move or create the right opportunity, within and beyond careers. Our proven process and customized action plans move clients quickly along their chosen path.
We help clients find or create new full-time corporate jobs, begin new careers, or start ventures as entrepreneurs, consultants, directors, and leaders in the not-for-profit sector. And, we help clients develop creative post-career plans that balance part-time work, family, leisure, and other meaningful endeavors. For those currently employed and facing critical career/life planning decisions, we move them from being at a crossroads to reengaging, redeploying, or transitioning to an opportunity better suited to them.
We focus on what's next for every client, as we help seek out opportunities that will help them achieve their full potential.
Guiding us in all of our services is our Life Portfolio vision, developed over the past 27 years. What is that vision? It frames careers within larger work and life goals—the intangible as well as the measurable ones. It involves not only the client but his or her family. It helps clients of New Directions clarify their short- and long-term goals, design a plan around them, view the next job, career, endeavor or stage of life as the first step in pursuing them, and then implement the plan.
