The Mountaineers is a community of outdoor enthusiasts passionate about exploration, discovery, learning, and conservation. Founded in 1906 by 151 visionaries, our members named peaks, explored waterways, and built trails to uncover unique and challenging landscapes. We helped create the North Cascades Wilderness area, and passed the National Wilderness Act. With an average of 6 activities a day to help you climb, ski, hike, paddle, sail, snowshoe, scramble, and more, we invite you to join us to lose yourself in the outdoors.
