For over four decades, Susan G. Komen® has lead the fight against breast cancer. What began in 1980 as a promise to Nancy G. Brinker's dying sister, Susan, has grown into a global organization across more than 30 countries - all united behind one vision: creating a world where no one dies from breast cancer.
Komen has invested nearly $1.1 billion in breast cancer research, and provided over $2.7 billion in Komen Patient Care programs, education and community support. To ensure lasting change, we've mobilized more than 125,000 advocates for patients' rights both locally at the state level and nationally in Washington, D.C.
With your help, we'll continue pushing for progress to eliminate breast cancer deaths until it's a thing of the past. For information on breast cancer and breast health, please call: 1-877-GO-KOMEN or visit komen.org.

Our History
Lifeline was founded in 1963 by the late Reverend Dr Sir Alan Walker, after he received a call by a distressed man, who three days later took his own life. Determined not to let loneliness, isolation or anxiety be the cause of other deaths, Sir Alan launched a crisis line, which operated out of the Methodist Central Mission in Sydney. Just a few days after it was first established Lifeline received over one hundred calls for help.
Today, somewhere in Australia there is a new call to Lifeline’s 24 hour crisis line 13 11 14 every minute.
As a charity we rely on the support of the community to support our life saving work.
