Positive Steps Information

Positive Steps is an organization committed to increasing the independence of people with special needs. We provide in home direct care and take the steps necessary to inspire and motivate clients to reach their goals. The organization administers community living support services at numerous sites throughout Livingston County and is primarily based in Howell, MI. Our company uses various different approaches to teach independent living skills to our clients. We provide our services to clients on a referral basis from Community Mental Health of Livingston County. On an organizational level we aim to utilize resources available to nonprofits and advancements in modern technology to streamline services and eliminate communication barriers. The organization is always seeking committed employees willing to assist in reaching our mission and goals. Ideal candidates are educated, motivated, tech savvy, and have experience working with people with various disabilities. Our company currently employs full and part time paid employees. We are in the process of implementing volunteering positions, internship programs, and numerous leadership roles to better facilitate our program's needs.
