In 1977, Porter entered the automotive market with infinitely adjustable mechanical seat recliners in General Motors full-size car lines. Since then, Porter has extended the application of Porter technology to over thirty different vehicle platforms with most major automotive manufacturers around the world. Manufacturing facilities for Porter Systems Inc in Indiana grown to over 100,000 square feet to accommodate growing automotive requirements.
