Portage Aquatic Club is a competitive swimming program supported by Portage Community Education with the purpose and commitment to: progress the sport of swimming in Greater Portage, recruit elementary students in Portage and encourage others from the area to join the team who have the same vision. The Portage Aquatic Club will provide swimmers with the highest quality of coaching and goal setting, create and maintain a challenging and prolific swimming setting, value each individual and his or her role in the success of our program,encourage sportsmanship and positive mental attitudes, educate and incorporate life skills through our swimming program and encourage swimmers to accept opportunities to grow and succeed to their highest level. VISION: Our vision is to inspire and enable our members to join USA SWIMMING, excel at their individual highest achievable swimming level and for the Portage aquatic club to be the best swimming choice in the greater Portage/Kalamazoo area.
