Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the Idea Factory has produced over 185 hours of nationally aired television programming as well as hundreds of corporate and commercial productions since its inception in 1992. Some of the television documentaries created have aired nationally on CBC, Global, Newsworld, Discovery Channel, CTV, WTN, and HGTV to name a few. Founded on the principle of creating television that makes a difference, the company has adopted this principle into its corporate production division in creating communications that make a difference to business. Our award winning corporate experience has taken us from the oil patch to the health care industry to virtually everywhere in-between, and our list of clients is extensive. We have worked for organizations such as Capital Health, Shell, Workers Compensation Board, PTI International, RONA as well as numerous educational institutes, government agencies and departments.
