Our Shutters have the look and feel of wood, with several major advantages. Any panel over 1200mm high should have a divider rail. Any panel over 1500mm high must have a divider rail. Any panel over 2400mm high should have two divider rails. Any panel over 2700mm high must have two divider rails. Using 90 mm Blades The maximum width for any Single Hinged Panel is 750mm up to 1500mm high, over 1500mm high you should drop the width back to 650mm. The maximum width for any single fixed Panel is 900mm. The maximum width for any Bi Fold Panel is 500mm. The maximum width for a Sliding Panel is 900mm. Using 64 mm Blades The maximum width for any Single Hinged Panel is 600mm up to 1500mm high, over 1500mm high you should drop the width back to 500mm. The maximum width for any single fixed Panel is 600mm. The maximum width for any Bi Fold Panel is 500mm. The maximum width for a Sliding Panel is 600mm. Our Sliding Panels will pass with 64 or 90mm Blades, this will need to be marked on your order as “Sliding – Open/Closed”. Our Sliding Panels can pass using the Traditional Tilt Bar (at the front) method, however extra room will need to be allowed. Always allow for any protruding handles etc. when considering whether internal mount is suitable. Where a mid rail is required, always consider any existing mid rails or mullions for aesthetics. Always consider position of existing door or window frames when determining the amount of panels required. Never assume window panels are equal width. Always try to use the ‘Z’ frame for an inside mount – Measure tight sizes. Outside Mount - make sure you give the measurement from outside of frame to outside of frame.
