Polymash builds software and digital strategy for the art world: galleries, arts nonprofits, art schools, and cultural institutions. We started in 2010 in Bradenton, Florida, as an inbound marketing and podcast strategy agency. The Podcasting Strategy Show ran for years, and we helped hundreds of creators plan, produce, and grow their shows. Around 2018 the work shifted toward arts media. We became the digital backbone for NOT REAL ART, a podcast network with more than 200 episodes and an annual artist grant program, building its website and advising on its growth. Artsville USA followed in 2021, and in 2023 we built arterial.org for Arterial, the 501(c)(3) arts media organization that now houses those brands. That decade taught us something specific: arts organizations do not need more marketing advice. They need sustained, credible presence, and nobody on staff has time to produce it. So we started building tools. PolyWiz generates weeks of platform-specific social campaigns for arts organizations, with a person approving every post before it publishes. It is in private beta with development partners including Arterial, Not Real Art, Artsville USA, The Intersect, and the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia. The Intersect is our newsletter and podcast on art and technology, curated with AI assistance and edited by a human. Visibility Labs builds discovery tools for podcasters. Alongside the products we take on client work: artist submission pipelines for open calls and exhibitions, fundraising data systems, and research projects for arts institutions. Our position on AI is unglamorous and firm: the intelligence is under the hood, not on the label, and nothing goes live without a human saying yes. Founded by Juergen Berkessel.
