The Kentucky Horse Park is Kentucky’s largest state-owned tourist attraction and is an agency of the Kentucky Tourism, Arts & Heritage Cabinet. Also the largest attraction in Central Kentucky, the park is dedicated to sharing Kentucky’s love of the horse with the world. Based in Lexington, the park hosts about 500,000 visitors and 18,600 competition horses in 200 special events and horse shows annually. The only park of its kind in the world, the Kentucky Horse Park is a working horse farm, educational theme park, equine competition facility, and equine office park dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse. The park is set on more than 1,200 acres in the heart of Kentucky’s famous Bluegrass Region.

Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club is the premier destination for summer polo. SBPRC, founded in 1911, is the third oldest United States Polo Association, (USPA.) Club still in existence in the United States. The polo club features 141 deluxe condominium units, 2 swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, eight tennis courts, a tennis clubhouse, an exercise track for the horses, an arena, stabling for 350 horses, and three turf fields. The Club hosts multiple leagues of polo to attract new players at various skill levels. SBPRC encourages future players through the promotion of intercollegiate polo, public polo lessons and creative marketing. On the social side, the Club is reputed for its parties, elegant events and fine dining during the polo season and year-round, the Club’s tennis, swim and fitness members enjoy a social scene too.

Established in 1981, Greenwich Polo Club is one of the top polo venues in the world. Located only 30 miles Northeast of New York City, Greenwich Polo Club is the epicenter of high-goal polo in the United States during the summer season and is one of only four high-goal clubs in the country. The club is home to the legendary White Birch polo team, one of the most successful in history, having won the most high-goal polo tournaments of any team over the course of the past 25 years, including the US Open Polo Championship in 2005. Greenwich Polo Club hosts public high-goal polo matches on Sundays beginning in June and concluding mid-September. Greenwich Polo Club has hosted some of the sport’s most prestigious tournaments: the East Coast Open, Gold Cup, Sentebale Cup with H.R.H Prince Harry Duke of Sussex, and the Silver Cup. Many of the world’s most notable players have played at Greenwich Polo Club, including Mariano Aguerre, Nacho Figueras, Facundo Pieres, Nic Roldan and Hilario Ulloa, to name a few. Beginning in the early spring, polo teams arrive in Greenwich from all over the world and create a significant boost to the region. In recent years, the club has hosted teams hailing from Connecticut, Florida, Kentucky, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Virginia, as well as international teams including Argentina, Australia, England, France, India and Italy. This influx of talent brings more than 40 players and 500 horses, attracting tens of thousands of fans to watch them play live. The club expects more than 3,000 spectators each Sunday (exceeding that total for tournament finals) during the 2020 season.
