POLLINIS Information

POLLINIS is an independent non-profit organization that campaigns for alternative methods to intensive agriculture and massive use of pesticides in Europe. Thanks to donations for private individuals only, our citizen movement accelerates the transition towards a sustainable farming that can meet the needs of food security and ensure profit for farmers while protecting food quality, people's health and the environment. Our legitimacy comes from the citizens who support us, concerned consumers and taxpayers financing the massive farming subsidies. On your behalf, we’re engaged in lobbying politicians and institutions to protect pollinators, reduce the use of pesticides and promote alternative farming methods. We also finance independent studies and support innovative and realistic projects in agriculture and beekeeping. The symbol of our fight is a dark bee, a complex and mysterious pollinator that is both a victim of our intensive system and the cornerstone of food production.
