PollCheck is an independent UK site for political polling, election projections and local elections. For the 2026 English locals, PollCheck published ward-level projections for 5,034 seats across 136 councils. Council control was called correctly in 110 of 136 (80.9%), and across 2,951 wards the mean per-party error in vote share was 5.19 points. Mark Pack rated PollCheck in his Week in Polls comparison of local-election forecasters at 4th of 11 (RMSE 140). When adjusted for the model used a polling-day baseline rather than 2022 baselines the projections scored at 68 RMSE, making it the most accurate projection of 2026. The site is also used for Westminster voting intention, seat projections, constituency pages, by-elections and devolved calculators, and has been cited or linked in various national and international media outlets.
