Policy Analytics Information

Do your policies or programs have the expected social impact? Are there more cost-effective alternatives? Which processes and structures does your organization need to make strategic and operational decisions based on evidence? Increasingly better data, rigorous quantitative research methods, and results from previous research allow us to understand human behavior better than ever. At Policy Analytics, we support organizations to benefit from these developments by helping them to design social programs, policies, services, or interventions that enable their clients to make better decisions for themselves and society. To this end, we help organizations to work in an evidence-informed way and further develop their learning culture. We analyze the context of a given program or service, apply behavioral insights and results from previous research to co-design promising policy options, and test them rigorously using scientific methods such as (randomized) field experiments. Based on these results, we develop actionable recommendations for the implementation, cost-effectiveness, and scaling of the studied programs or services. Policy Analytics was founded in 2017 and is an ETH Zurich spin-off.
