Founded in 2017, Polar Jewelry is a Copenhagen-based jewelry brand. Our ethos is to instil a little bit of unconventionality, elegance and wonder into every collection we make and curate. Every collection is thematic and revolves around subject matter that has captured our imaginations from an experiential and creative perspective. After an idea has coalesced in our minds, we start putting pencil to paper to explore the aesthetic depths of it. At Polar Jewelry, each piece begins life as a hand-drawn concept. From this process, fluid forms, shapes, colors and configurations begin to arise. The intricacy of these unique designs requires dexterous craftsmanship and the usage of the finest materials to ensure functional, high-quality pieces. A love for experimentation, and for harmoniously blending different elements, is in the DNA of Polar Jewelry. The two founders themselves have combined their nontraditional creative background to create a unique hybrid aesthetic for their jewelry. Louise Kaiser studied Industrial & Product Design at Central St Martins and has worked in London for the past 7 years. Anne Sofie Fenneberg is an award-winning sculptor and artist. In 2017, she graduated with a Master's from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The application of their skills from these complementary crafts into jewelry making, ensures a product that is equally artistic, functional and distinctive. All our pieces are made by hand from the finest 925 sterling silver with 22K gold or rhodium plating. Mixed with natural freshwater pearls and red bamboo corals. Polar Jewelry goes to great lengths to source and handpick only the finest quality materials and color palettes to mirror the ambition of the collections. One of our most important initiatives is ethical sourcing, making sure that our materials are sustainable.
