At pointA (formerly Smart Commute - North Toronto, Vaughan) our goal is to connect people to the places they want to go. We aim to give people and businesses transportation options that benefit the environment, the economy and the well-being of our communities. In collaboration with our funders, members and partners, we facilitate transportation demand management programs, and advocate for sustainable transportation. We deliver the Smart Commute program (in North Toronto, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Vaughan, and Halton Municipalities), a multi-site shuttle program, the Best Workplaces for Commuters designation. Our programs and services bring together technology and programs, covering all modes of transportation from carpooling, public transit, cycling, walking and remote work.
