PocketCultures is an independent internet and social media project which promotes awareness and understanding between people of different cultures. The best way to learn about life in different countries is to go there and see for yourself, talk to people from that country. However travelling abroad is not always possible. PocketCultures is a place to meet and exchange opinions with people from all over the globe, without leaving home. Our regional contributors and editors write from over 30 countries around the world to challenge stereotypes and bring local perspectives, insights and opinions that are not represented by traditional media.
