Pochron Studios Information

Pochron Studios is a photographic exhibition print studio serving artists, photographers, galleries, museums, institutions, and individuals since 1995. Founded in New York City, the studio has more than 30 years of experience in the craft of photographic printing, with a particular commitment to color, materials, and process. Every project is approached as a collaboration, balancing each client’s vision with our meticulous printing standards. We work with artists at every stage of their careers, from emerging photographers producing their first exhibition to established artists creating editions and large scale bodies of work. Pochron Studios offers analog C-prints, digital C-prints, and inkjet pigment prints (giclée), along with professional drum scanning, retouching, color correction and matching, archival mounting, and exhibition printing. Our experience with both traditional darkroom techniques and contemporary digital processes allows us to determine the right process and materials for each photograph. Now based in Dutchess County, New York, Pochron Studios maintains a satellite meeting space in Gowanus, Brooklyn, continuing our long connection to the New York City art and photography community. Our Print on Demand service extends the studio’s expertise beyond the professional art world. Anyone can have a photograph beautifully printed and made to order, from photographs of family and pets to images from a phone, professional photography, and fine art. Each print receives the same careful attention to color and quality that defines our studio work.
