PMDC Information

Founded in 2005, the PMDC is a student-led organization dedicated to advancing leadership in professional spaces. Our mission is to prepare students for the workplace by developing cultural competencies and leadership skills to thrive. Each year, PMDC hosts an Annual Pamplin Conference and Case Competition, where top corporations lead workshops and share insights on in the workplace. We strive to create opportunities, foster inclusivity, and elevate underrepresented voices within the Pamplin College of Business and beyond. As a leader in Virginia Tech’s initiatives, PMDC ensures that all students feel a sense of belonging while recognizing the value of belonging in both local and global communities.
