Pluto Network Information

Researchers have been evaluated their work primarily based on their published journal papers. The whole academia around the globe is suffering from this old practice, and to the core of the problem is that researchers are obsessed with publishing more papers rather than pursuing genuine knowledge, hassling the cooperative nature of the scene. Pluto suggests to build an alternative ecosystem governed autonomously by researchers, where there will be a better measure of evaluation given contextually and collectively by the community. Public blockchain makes a great technical backbone for such system, while at the same time requiring a sound community of researchers including various stakeholders around the research world. To achieve the vision, Pluto is developing and servicing the free, open search engine for academics called 'Scinapse'​, and striving to build up more community with various efforts in cooperation with many research oriented institutes.
