Plush Nails Information

I started my career as a nail technician at the age of 16, at which time I was lucky enough to get a full time job at well known nail salon Funk it up nail art after badgering the owner for weeks to hire me! I had further training and really mastered the art of nail technology and became an airbrush specialist. After 2 years I decided to venture out and launch Goddess Nails, my own business located on the stylish Pakington Street. I built a very loyal client base and became an expert in my trade. I decided to move the business to the city and rented a space at Planet Sun tanning studio. Business was booming and I really enjoyed the freedom of being my own boss. I was approached by the owner of the very popular and trendy GLOS nail bar and offered a position as an experienced nail technician. I had worked so hard over the past 4 years to build my name and client base so it was a tough decision to consider. I accepted the position and soon became the co-manager of the salon. In my time at GLOS I certainly polished up on my classic style nails and mastered the perfect manicure and pedicure. Still only young and being in the industry for 6 years I decided it was time for a change so I moved into the fashion industry and became store manager for Pilgrim clothing, a Melbourne fashion label. 6 months went by and although my wardrobe was bursting with designer labels it just wasnt quite for me. A short time later I started at Westpac as a personal banker in the city, 12 months in I was promoted to a personal banker for business customers assisting with companies, self managed super funds and day to day banking. After more than 5 years with Westpac and throughout that time travelling the world with my husband, I decided I couldnt be stuck in an office all day! I needed more freedom and missed my creative side. I believe you need to love what youre doing and if you are not happy then try something else - It may be the best choice you have ever made!
