Plinovodi d.o.o. is a company managing the natural gas transmission network. The main operational goal and activity of the company Plinovodi d.o.o. is provision of long-term, reliable, high quality, price competitive and environmentally acceptable transmission of natural gas. Large industrial users and distributors, which provide natural gas to 74 municipalities with a population of more than 1,3 million inhabitants, are connected to Plinovodi network. The annual supply to all users of the transmission network is around 0.9 billion cubic metres of natural gas. The transport of natural gas is executed reliably and without interruptions since the company Plinovodi ensures 24-hour supervision and monitoring of the rate of flow of natural gas in the gas network. The activities of the company are: • transmission of natural gas through the Slovenian natural gas transmission system, • planning and development of the natural gas transmission system, • calibration and maintenance of gas meters and correctors, • education of those working in the energy industry. The company Plinovodi d.o.o. will continue to provide quality and reliable transmission of natural gas to all areas of Slovenia, where the use and supply of natural gas will be economically justified, also in the future.
