Plevin is a wood recycling business, specialising in the recycling of all forms of wood to produce a range of sustainable products including animal beddings, biomass fuel and feedstock for panel board. Our well-known Snowflake animal bedding range includes quality softwood shavings and softwood chip. All of our beddings are de-dusted to produce bedding suitable for horses, small pets and livestock. We also manufacture a highly absorbent wood pellet cat litter. Plevin was formed in 1973 by Roy & Maureen Plevin and is now run by their two sons Simon & Jamie. Plevin has grown to become one of the UK's leading wood processing and recycling companies - collecting, processing and distributing over 600,000 tonnes of wood a year. We employ 190 people across four UK sites in Manchester, Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. The sites are strategically positioned to enable us to provide a nationwide service. We also operate a modern fleet of articulated vehicles, with specialist walking floor, chipliner and blow box trailers, along with wagon and drag vehicles / skips, ensuring we are well equipped to service all your wood requirements.
